Lifetime Promises Ministries, Inc.™ is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and non-denominational Christian ministry that helps the working poor and those struggling on the streets by providing children's Bibles, reading glasses, toiletries, seed money, food and prayer. Along with the children's Bible's intriguing pictures and God's instructional stories, each Bible contains twenty dollars and reading glasses if requested. We believe that life's chains can be broken by the Blood of Jesus. (John 8:34 NIV) "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

Our process of giving away these special children's Bible begins with two people. In pairs we hit the streets knocking on doors with intentions of finding lost souls and listening to their needs. We ask permission to pray a prayer of blessing and then we say a prayer of repentance while having them repeat it with us. After the prayer, we listen as they share their struggles and hardships. We offer a beautiful children's Bible and if the person accepts our gift, they will discover not only God's powerful words, but will find money located inside. There are also times that we provide groceries, toiletries, and fans for staying cool during the hottest time of the year.

After the Bible is accepted, the conversation about God begins. We offer to discuss any their favorite Bible stories, and we witness that God loves them, has not forgotten them, and is always with them. In closing, we recite God's Lifetime Promises from scripture on a small tract which afterwards we give to them.

We encourage them to run to God not away from Him and Debra Ward, founder of Lifetime Promises, takes the person's prayer needs to her nursing home ministry, "Reflections with Debra" and together in the Prayer Circle, the nursing home residents pray for the needs of the working poor and those struggling on our streets.
